Barren River 2nd Annual Geocaching Weekend
GeoCaching in general. barrenriver writes "Barren River Lake State Resort Park will host the 2nd Annual Geocaching Weekend Oct. 26-28, 2007 at the park. The weekend will begin with a meet and greet and intro session on Friday evening. Saturday will consist of hunting event caches. 2 permanent caches will be placed with coordinates not being announced until the weekend so registered participants will have the oppportunity at the FTF. Saturday evening will consist of a chili dinner and costume contest followed by a night cache activity. Sunday will conclude with hunting more caches. There will be caches hidden for all levels of participants. Fee is $15 per person (includes chili supper, t-shirt and free prize drawing) or $10 for children under 12."
