Veterans Park Cleanup

In cooperation with GeoCaching's Earth Day effort, GEOCKY held a cleanup event on the 26th at Veterans Park in Lexington.  We had a good turnout of a number of willing volunteers, and were able to fill a dumptruck with the garbage collected from the park.

After the cleanup, which lasted about 4 hours, we had a cookout in the park, and everyone had a great time hunting some of the local caches as well as a few event-only caches that were placed for the occasion.

A hearty THANK YOU to everyone who came out and participated in this event (or any of the other GeoCaching Cleanup events).
