GeoCaching Policies in Kentucky

Public lands in Kentucky are managed by federal, state and local governments.  Each agency has their own mission, which directs how they manage the lands under their jurisdiction. This means that policies for public use differ from agency to agency, and sometimes from area to area within a specific agency.

GEOCKY has been working with various land management authorities in Kentucky to encourage them to develop policies that allow GeoCaching while respecting the mission of each agency.  As the various policies are developed, we will be publishing them on this page so there is a single area where you can find them.

GEOCKY asks that you PLEASE read, understand, and respect these policies.  Contact information will be provided for each land management agency.  If you have any questions, please contact the relevant land management agency, or you may contact GEOCKY if you prefer, and we will forward your question along.
